Wojtek Wieczorek
CEO R&D manager
Engineer, inventor, and outdoor freak. Work and life both revolve around mountains and being outside.
Founder and R&D lead at AEROSIZE, creator of a compact avalanche airbag, and holder of multiple patents. Member of the CEN expert group for mountaineering equipment. I build gear that’s safe, simple, and proven in real mountain conditions. Co-designer of the BACKWARDS binding system.
Outside work: backcountry snowboarding, kitesurfing, packrafting, and mountaineering. The wilder, the better.
MSc in Civil Engineering (Wrocław University of Science and Technology).

Founder and co-owner of BACKWARDS, where he designed and developed the innovative binding system. Former Technical Director at AEROSIZE R&D, focused on research and development for avalanche safety technology.
Most of his professional life revolves around designing equipment for demanding mountain conditions — gear that has to perform when it matters most.
When not in the lab, he spends his time in the mountains and on the water.
