MROZY BaseGuard is a reusable adhesive protection for skis and snowboards, applied to the base for that final part of the descent when rocks start to appear. You apply it and trim it exactly the same way as ski skins.

Technical info:

Skiing: 2 protection sheets, fully covered with ski-skin adhesive, sized 175 × 11 cm each.

Snowboarding: 1 protection sheet, fully covered with ski-skin adhesive, sized 170 × 30 cm.

TRIMMING:

When trimming, leave the edges exposed — there’s no point protecting the steel, and if it hits a rock, the material could chip.

Most common mistakes, see pictures below:

A fully covered edge causes greater damage to the protector.

And just to be clear: this doesn’t mean you can now ski straight over rocks — it’s not indestructible.
