How Does It Work?
[ PRINCIPLE ]
01 // Water Atomization
Standard pressure washer water alone cannot freeze in air unless atomized into ultra-fine micro-droplets.
02 // Compressed Air Secret
Compressed air shatters water droplets at nozzle exit into microscopic mist that freezes mid-air.
03 // Sub-Zero Freezing
At temperatures of -2.5°C and below, the mist instantly freezes and falls to the ground as real, natural snow.
Required Equipment & Specs
[ DRIVE SYSTEM ]
The snowmaker requires connection to a pressure washer and an air compressor (not included, available at DIY stores or online).
- Pressure Washer Requirements: Flow rate of ~477 L/h (7.95 L/min). (For washers with lower flow, one nozzle can be removed and plugged with a nipple).
- Air Compressor Requirements: Minimum pressure of 6.2 bar at air flow rate of at least 141.6 L/min.
- Couplings: Equipped with standard quick-connect fittings. Additional adapters may be required depending on washer brand standards.
